Grief circle (free)

Join me August 21

August 7, 2025

Friends, I'm facilitating a grief circle on Thursday, August 21, 2025, 10 a.m. eastern/New York time (UTC -4). Online, free.

This is a place for people who are feeling grief or loss for any reason (personal, job-related, political, etc.) and might benefit from spending a bit of time where you will not be judged for your feelings. Participants will not be required to say a word or be on camera, though you may if you wish.

I cannot promise emotional safety (that's not something anybody can promise, ever), but I will facilitate a space that is welcoming and has softness for you and your experiences.

People of all identities are welcome to attend; in full transparency, I'm a white, cis-het woman in the middle of the U.S.

I'm offering this through the Liberatory Livelihood Association, where we are creating a community of people and organizations committed to the idea that we can all make a living in ways that are not oppressive.

As always, please keep recommending me to friends and colleagues who might need a business coach or small-shop strategic planner. My equity pricing structure means I can help most folks who need a business coach and/or strategic planner, and I have extensive experience, especially in the area of social justice. Some of my clients run high-revenue businesses, while others run non-profits, part-time or one-person businesses.

I try to be transparent about my identity as a white, cis-het, middle-class woman in the U.S., because I think it’s important for my potential clients to know. I often get to work with people who have identities that differ from mine, and together, we are building a world where our lives and work are much better because of it.

Have a meaningful day,

Kay Coughlin, CEO and Business Coach, Facilitator on Fire
