Radically caring networking event January 30th
Thoughtful enough for even introverts like me to enjoy

January 16, 2026
I'd like to invite you to participate in a very special virtual networking event I get to co-host on Friday, January 30, 2026, 9 - 10:30 am EST (New York, UTC -5). You can get all of the details about it here.
One of the reasons I'm excited to invite you to attend this event is that the format is really caring and thoughtful (even for introverts like me), especially when facilitated by Chris Musei-Sequeira, who is extremely skilled. (You can learn more about Chris at the main Liberatory Livelihood Association/LLA linktree, here).
This event, which is an offers-and-needs networking event around professional (livelihood) needs, is a way to meet people and get support, but matches whatever energy you bring to it. In other words, you don't have to participate more than you want to, you can participate quietly if you like, and there's no manipulated activity like speed networking.
Our mission at the LLA is to create spaces that align values with livelihoods, so our January 30 offers-and-needs event really fits that mission so neatly. Plus, this is our contribution to the upcoming worldwide "Reclaim the Economy Week" that you can find out more about here.
Please share this invitation widely. We’ve scheduled this event at a time we hope makes it possible for folks in many parts of the world to attend.
I do hope you'll consider registering (here) for this event on January 30. If you do, I have to warn you that you might be in danger of wanting to attend more offers-and-needs events in the future!
As always, please keep recommending me to friends and colleagues who might need a business/leadership coach or strategic planner (my specialty as a planner is small shops). My equity pricing structure means I can help most folks and I have extensive experience, especially in the area of social justice. Some of my clients run high-revenue businesses, while others run non-profits or one-person businesses.
I try to be transparent about my identity as a white, cis-het, middle-class, non-disabled woman in the U.S., because I think it’s important for my potential clients to know. I often get to work with people who have identities that differ from mine, and together, we are building a more just and equitable world where our lives and work are much better because of it.
Here’s to spending time together this year in ways that meet our needs,
Kay Coughlin, CEO and Business Coach, Facilitator on Fire
