Boundaries - you're going to need them

Hi there - if you haven’t subscribed to my Patreon community yet, now would be a good time. And please invite your friends and colleagues too. Because I’m about to do a whole lot of talking about boundaries to help you prepare for the winter holidays. I think this is especially important at this moment in time, given the election cycle we’ve just been through in the U.S.

While this specific post is available to the public to read, I’m making most of my content on Patreon available to members only - but that includes free members, too. This is another boundary decision that I’ve made because sometimes I talk about things that are personal, or topics that make people very angry - like how I’m working to fight racism and misogyny.

My goal is to create a space that’s safe enough for you and me to be in a community together and also talk about very hard things. We can be courageous together but there’s no reason to make ourselves into targets for abuse, as so often happens in open-to-the-public-and-trolls social media. So yes, you’ll need to join my community on Patreon to see most of what I’ll be saying there. Thanks for understanding. I look forward to seeing you there.
